The Daily Mail wrote an article about False strip eye lashes damaging your eye lashes which they do greatly but they also mentioned that Eyelash extensions are the same. This is not true. Here is more information on why this is the case. Enjoy.xxx

Eyelash extensions add length, thickness and fullness to natural eyelashes. Synthetic single fiber polyester thread-like materials are applied to individual eyelashes to create a fuller, longer look. The adhesive used is surgical-grade. Extensions come in various lengths, colors and thicknesses, and can be worn during sleep, showering and swimming. However, excessive exposure to oil can weaken adhesive bond. [ Eyelash extensions] differ from "fake" or "false" eyelashes in that they are applied one extension to one lash. The procedure to attach the extensions takes an average of one and a half to two hours for a full set of extensions of roughly 30-80 lashes per eye. If properly applied with cyanoacrylate adhesive, eyelash extensions are designed to bond to one's natural eyelash.

Eyelash extensions may last from two weeks to two months, depending on the cycle of hair growth. Most people choose black lashes, however, brown, red, green and purple are available. Mink lashes are available, and are sustainably harvested from live minks in the United States. The minks are combed out, their hair sanitized and the individual hairs are used. Mink sets may cost from £500.00 and up. Most technicians use nylon based hairs, however, not mink. Eyelash extensions have been around since the late 1990s, used mostly by fashion models and Hollywood. Eyelash extensions are worn by celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Star Jones, Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani, Lucy Liu, Naomi Campbell and Liz Hurley. However, since the early 2000s, many suburban salons have offered this service. Eyebrow extensions are available as well, however are not as popular as eyelash extensions.

False eyelash strips, or small groups of false eyelashes, are not considered to be "Eyelash Extensions."

As hair grows out, it cycles and falls out naturally, thus shedding the extension with it.

Prices range depending on location of salon and type of service offered. Generally the price is £150.00 to £500.00 per set.

My prices start from £90 upwards for a full set of Natural Fiber.

Synthetic sets start from £65.

Will my Eye Lashes fall out if I have Eye Lash extensions.

Well the simple truth is NO.

I have been working with eye lashes for over 5 years now. As a makeup artist I am constantly  trying to achieve a fuller, thicker look with mascara and granted the right mascara did a good job and some still do. However trying to get a longer lasting look with mascara is difficult as the product heats up and slides off the lash and onto your skin, giving you those lovely Panda eye's that is the Bain of every woman's make up life.

The natural cycle of a  lash is 45-60 days.  Your lashes are constantly growing which allows the older lashes to fall away and be discarded. Using a strong Eye Lash extension adhesive allows me to bond the Eye Lash extension to your Natural lash without it disturbing the growth because the bond never touches the skin of the eye lid.

The bond is light and I only need to use a very small amount as it's quite strong. Once I have applied the set of choice to your lashes then all you need to is get on with living your life with fuller, sexier lashes.

If you are experiencing tightness, stickiness, or any discomfort around your lashes then they have been applied wrong, Your lashes should look natural and fluffy, if they are clumpy and ridged then its also been done wrong.

I hope this is good information for you guys.

Please don't hesitate to ask as many questions as you want and I'll be here to answer them.
